A girly girl at heart, every now and then I need a lace, rick rack, floral, girly project fix. I made a mini quilt using my “smocking” dress on hanger linocut.

I’m calling it “everything nice” which I freemotion quilted above and below the print, using white glass beads to dot the i’s (with some little hearts for extra girly good measure). It’s embellished with pink rick rack and 100% cotton lace.

I attached little triangular pockets at the upper corners for hanging but it is also the perfect size for a doll’s cradle. I had fun and got that out of my system. It’s in my shop!
