I have named my latest silkscreen design “My Happy Place.” I printed some test panels and am busy sewing up some examples of ways to use the print. “My Happy Place” will be available in my Etsy shop soon. The design features sweet little houses with red curtains and scalloped roof lines alternating with apple trees. The pattern repeats over a 10 1/2″ x 14″ area. It looks like a place where I would be happy, hence the name.
This cosmetic bag highlights a strip of my silkscreened fabric edged with a narrow strip of DS Quilts Picnic Gingham Stripe Red and Michael Miller Ta Dot in Ocean.
The back is a Bliss Check design. The bag is quilted and fully lined. The red zipper has an aqua ribbon pull with white polka dots. This little red and aqua number is in my shop. The silk screened fabric will be available soon!
I hope you like this design! I am finding it inspiring and have a number of projects in the works. I will be back with another one tomorrow.
