I have been busily working on my Potholder Pass 8 swap partner’s tea towels for the past month. I decided to design a new silk screen and print her towels. Orange was her color. I decided to make a design inspired by the mid century modern designs of Catherineholm. Her kitchenware is highly desirable and very collectible. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and hope that my partner loves her towels! They will go out in the mail today.

I have also put some towels in my shop. The towels are 100% linen. Linen is the ultimate choice for tea towels as it is highly absorbent, naturally resistant to bacteria, and lint free.

I am also selling printed fabric on an Essex blend base cloth. Can you just imagine the potholders, aprons and table runners you could make? I can’t wait to get started myself!
I will be printing this design in three colorways. Orange is ready to go. I will also be printing yellow and royal blue. I will post the other designs as they are completed!
