Works in Progress

I have nothing finished to show you but a few beginnings. I joined Doll Quilt Swap 11 on Flickr. My partner was pretty specific about her color likes and dislikes and I have settled on this stack of fabrics for her quilt (unless she has a negative comment about them in which case I will reassess). There is a bit of Kona ash, pepper, celery and lagoon (I believe) along with Too Muchery Leaves in Teal. I am still settling on the block that I will use.

I am making a crazy little baby quilt that I am calling “Duck Soup.” It began with
this fat quarter set of Lizzy House’s Red Letter Day. When I saw them in person, I realized how difficult it would be to find coordinates! I pulled out all my fabrics and added everything that I could that was along the same colortones. I am using my Accuquilt Go!Baby Tumbler die. The tumblers are all cut now and I am sewing the rows.

Sadly, my progress on the yo yo along is slower than cold molasses. This is all I have so far but aren’t they cute?
