Enigma Block Tutorial

I am sharing a tutorial for this block, aptly called Enigma, on the Sizzix blog today.  It’s made using three dies that many quilters who own a Sizzix diecutter probably already have in their collection because they are standard shapes: a quarter square triangle, a half square triangle and a parallelogram.
I will walk you through the block one step at a time with pictures.

I cut into some new fabrics from Sew Me A Song for this block.  I used Alphabet Song Color 100 from First of Infinity by Kumiko Fujita and Sewing in Grey from the Live Life Collection for Yuwa of Japan. I combined them with older Curio prints from BasicGrey.

I’m loving this block and thinking of a little series perhaps of blocks made with these dies for a sampler of sorts.  Any interest?
