At long last, the pattern is now available for my Picnic Basket Quilt! I designed this quilt for BasicGrey using their latest fabric line, PB&J. The pattern includes cutting and piecing directions in full color. It also includes four layouts with diagrams for Baby, Lap, Twin and King sized quilts. The pattern is 10 pages long. The last couple of pages list exact yardage requirements for each quilt so that you can purchase just what you need and walk away with little waste.
This quilt uses just a single fabric line but the fabrics are layed out in such a way that it has the scrappy feel that I love. The block design is a traditional one but the fabrics and their placement give it a fresh new look.
It’s a fun quilt to put together. I hope you will give it a try! Above is my picture of the quilt top before it was sent to BasicGrey to get quilted and dolled up for the photoshoot!
PB&J is arriving in shops this week. If you are looking for some, try the Fat Quarter Shop, Christa Quilts or Sew Fresh Fabrics (select prints, not the full line).
The pdf pattern is available in my During Quiet Time Etsy shop. Click here to purchase!
I nearly forgot, BasicGrey is offering 2 of the hardcopy paper patterns of Picnic Blanket to two lucky winners. Just leave a comment here for one entry. Leave another comment if you are a follower for a second entry. I will draw two winners names on Tuesday, March 5th.
The giveaway is now closed. The winners are Happy Cottage Quilter and Catherine. Both have been sent emails!
