I took these pictures for the Seacoast Modern Quilt Guild blog but just had to share them with you too. I have been wanting to take a shot like this of multiple quilts for awhile and this was the perfect opportunity.
The Boston Modern Quilt Guild has been accepting blocks for the Quilts for Boston effort and provided my guild with 6 assembled quilt tops, batting, backing fabrics and binding rolls. A few volunteers from my guild worked to complete the quilts by basting, quilting and binding them.
Hopefully, they will be off to their new homes soon with victims of the Boston Marathon attack and first responders.
If you sent a block, can you find it here? There are so many quilts being made so don’t be disappointed if you do not. They are expecting to make nearly 100 quilts.
