Thank you for the all the “Cheers!” block love on Instagram and in the comments section of my New Years Eve blog post. It was a fun project though I took forever to settle on my fabrics!

A couple of you have expressed interest in sewing one up right away! I am excited about that and can’t wait to see your versions. The pattern is now ready and can be downloaded
from my Etsy and Craftsy shops.

I designed this block to celebrate the New Year, of course, but I think it is perfect for any toast worthy occasion like an engagement, wedding, anniversary, birth or new job. I also picture it paired with the “from Santa” pattern (see below)

but changing it up to use a white floral for the wrapping paper and stamping the engaged/married couples’ names on the tag instead of “from Santa.” Ta da, it goes from a Christmas present pattern to a wedding present pattern. Don’t you think that would be sweet?

This is just a super quick mockup but something along these lines is what I had in mind.

It actually really has me hoping that we get invited to a wedding sometime soon so I can make a couple of pillows.
