They are all beautiful. But at the moment I am in an aqua mood 😉
Vicki, I have emailed you! Everyone else, I am sorry! But you can still order a bundle while supplies last at Sew Fresh Fabrics.
In other news, I’d like to draw your attention to a sale that ThermOWeb is having this month. 15% off all SpraynBond through March 10th.
And finally, I made my daughter a Geranium Dress. The pattern is by Made By Rae.
I used Hope Chest by Josephine Kimberling. It’s an older line but I am thinking you can still find it. I think it is the perfect dressmaking collection. I made these dresses for my girls out of it a couple of years ago. Oh, how I loved seeing them in those dresses!
This dress will be my older daughter’s Easter dress and was a trial run, a wearable muslin of sorts, for her First Communion Dress. The loose styling of the Geranium Dress would be comfortable for her and she is all about comfort. I am going to dress it up using white satin and a Chantilly lace overlay for the skirt. Wish me luck. Sewing with satin makes me cringe and vow not to do it again, every single time.
I am happy to report that it fits her nicely. I am not making her model it for you right now though since it is more wool socks and turtleneck weather here in New England.
