I’ve been busy sewing for quilt market this past month but those projects are starting to wrap up. In the meantime, I am sneaking a few minutes here and there to work on my daughter’s First Communion dress. I am working with satin and lace. Need I say more? You know what I am talking about. It frays, it slips and slides, it doesn’t iron all that well. But all in all, it is working out ok and I think she will have a dress to wear. Phew! This is a sneak peek of the neckline that I think is really sweet.
I am also anxious to work with this beautiful set of 10 inch squares of Oakshott-Colourshott. It’s just so pretty that I am having a hard time deciding what to make and making that first cut. Soon!
