I just finished up this sweet baby quilt based on the Tell Me A Story Quilt Pattern from my book, Intentional Piecing.
If you have been following along on IG at all, you already know that I have been running a contest. For each Tell Me A Story block that you make and post on IG with the hashtags #intentionalpiecingbook and #TellMeAStoryQuilt you are entered to win one of two fussy-cut-able bundles of fabric. You can also repost the image above as an entry.
The contest ends June 1. You really should check out the hashtags and see all the blocks entered so far and read their stories! I didn’t intend to sew along but, as it turns out, I wanted to play too. It’s so fun creating these blocks that each tell a story through intentional fabric selection.
I decided to just make a small, baby size version this time and I am donating it to the Quilts for Fort McMurray effort. I made a label for the back that reads “Each block tells a story. Enjoy reading your quilt.” I hope gives comfort to a little baby and his or her parents.
