Paper Trail in Improv

I finished this final quilt just the day prior to heading to spring market in St. Louis. I promised to share it with you upon my return, and here it is!  This is Paper Trail from my book, Improv Paper Piecing: A Modern Approach to Quilt Design.  I thought it would look great in Improv and really show of the neutrals in the collection so I am happy that I had time to fit it in.

As you can see, there are a number of low volume prints in the collection.  I believe that I used 6 here for the light colored sections of the quilt.  I just love, love, love low volume neutrals. They are something that I definitely hoard because I like to vary the backgrounds of my blocks sometimes with just subtle differences in prints.

Here is a shot of my booth from market.  See Paper Trail up at the top of the ladder?  I will be sure to share each of the pillows in detail later this week so that you can see all the details!

If you are a shop owner and are interested in ordering Improv or the accompanying patterns for your shop, please get in touch with me and I will help put you in touch with the right people!  My contact form is at the bottom of the Home page.  I’d love to hear from you.
