I have been working on a new paper piecing project inspired by a spider web. When I shared it on Instagram, there was some interest in a pattern in time for Halloween.
This is the project that I share on Instagram. Obviously, I was inspired by the shape of a spider web but wasn’t going for a spooky look! I modified the block a bit so that I could sell it as a 12″ block and sewed it up in some spider web fabric by Rashida Coleman Hale. It’s super fun as a Halloween block. It has lots of movement and so many possibilities.
You’ve got plenty of time to make one of these before October 31st! My kids think it’s cool so if you have kids in the house, you are likely to impress them with this block.
