I am pretty excited because I chose fabrics for my three Valentine’s Heart and Arrow blocks and then discovered that they actually worked together pretty well. It wasn’t intentional but a happy accident.
I decided to make them into a runner for my side table. I simply added 2″ scrappy borders all around to pull the colors together.

Most of the fabrics in the border are Sharon Holland’s Kismet collection but I also used the white with metallic print fabric to pull in the white backgrounds.

I quilted with straight lines spaced 1/2″ apart in a light peachy/pink Aurifil thread.

It was such a fun project and pretty quick too. If you would like to make one for your dining table, I suggest turning the middle block so that it’s less directional. The block pattern is in my shop!
