Christmas Wreath

I have a collection of well over a dozen Christmas paper pieced patterns. I have been designing them just one or two a year for the last decade. They are different sizes and I have been sewing them with different background fabrics but keeping the overall color schemes coherent. I feel like the project is nearing a close and I am hoping to just design a couple more blocks and start assembling the quilt in an alternate grid layout with a scrappy low volume background.

I’ve been wanting to make a Christmas wreath block for a while but was perplexed as to how I wanted to divide up the space to create a natural looking evergreen wreath with a bow. I am pretty satisfied with this design.

I know that it’s no longer Christmas season but personally, I don’t mind sewing Christmas items off season. I kind of enjoy it because the Christmas rush/stress isn’t battling for my time.

If you are interested in the pattern, you can find it in my Etsy shop or in my Pattern shop.
