Another Tell Me A Story Quilt

I finished my third Tell Me A Story Quilt! This one is made from blocks that I sewed myself and some that I received from Tell Me A Story block swappers. It’s so nice to include blocks from all these lovely swappers. If you’d like to make one too, I will be starting up another swap soon! The pattern is in my book, Intentional Piecing.

I made this quilt roughly twin size. I changed up the border, inspired by one made by Kari right after my book came out. Did you know that Kari was the illustrator for all of my books?

I thought I would share this detail shot of the quilting. I think it’s the perfect way to quilt the Tell Me A story blocks because it avoids stitching over the adorable fussy cuts! I stitched 1/4″ from each seam line, diagonally, horizontally, and vertically. I used a pale blue/grey Aurifil thread and it blended beautifully.

This quilt is in the dryer now, crinkling up!
