It’s been a couple of years since I taught at QuiltCon, due to Covid, but I am happy to announce that I have a busy teaching schedule at the 2023 QuiltCon! The interactive schedule is now available so you can read up on all the classes and come up with your plan prior to registration opening in August.

I will be teaching two half day workshops on Modern Selvage Design which I expect to be very fun! These blocks are addictive and truly enjoyable to make. Making them with a group will allow for selvage trading too which will better everyone’s blocks. This is a great way to dip your toes into the foundation paper piecing waters too as there is a tiny bit of it involved.

I will also be teaching two half day workshops on Kitchen Sink Quilt Math. Did you know that I took math classes for fun in college, alongside my Art History major? I had all but a class or two needed for a double major! This math is not going to be too challenging though and will be mixed with design ideas and discussion. Bring your random quilt block collection from workshops and other WIPs, along with some graph paper, and you will leave with a plan! This is a no sew class.

And finally, I will be teaching a full day class using my Gulls Pattern. We will be sewing from a pattern but I will be using it to demo my low waste FPP technique. It’s great for beginners and those who paper piece but want to learn some of my tips and tricks. I just had some Gulls Patterns printed on paper as well that I will be adding to my shop soon and will have available at QuiltCon too.
Take a look at the schedule for more! I hope to see you in one of my classes!
