My Mousey Stitchmas Pattern Set is ready for download! My 13 year old daughter named this pattern set. She’s on a roll! She named the quilt that I am working on too.

This pattern set includes the Mouse and Spool block and its mirror image so you can have the mouse face left or right. It’s also designed so that you can easily change the color of the ear or tail. So you could piece the mouse all in one color, or add in different colors in those two spots. I had this grey text fabric in my holiday stash and was so excited to find the perfect application. Good news, it’s still available! I bought it at Sew Me A Song a few years ago but just checked and there’s some left. Here’s the link.
Of course, this 8″ x 10″ block doesn’t need to be used for the holidays at all. So you should be able to find uses for it all year long.

The mouse has two coordinating designs that make it more holiday-ish. The first is is the 6″ x 12″ Christmas tree. I made two versions of the block and had the hardest time deciding which to use. The second version is a whimsical version where the tree tips toward the mouse. So, I included it as a bonus block in the pattern!

The final block is a 6″ x 12″ present. I used holiday fabric to make a Christmas present but I could also see this as a birthday present depending on the fabric choices.

I designed the blocks to fit will on 18″ pillow covers. I picture one at either end of the couch with the mice facing in toward each other. Cute! That’s where these pillows are heading once we start decorating for Christmas. The pattern includes cutting directions for the background fabric needed to square these up to 18″. I made sure to include a wide border because I wanted the blocks to be visible and not wrapping around the edges of the pillow.
This is a pretty quick and doable before Christmas project. I hope you enjoy it!
The pattern set is available in my Etsy shop and my PDF shop.
Have a wonderful day! Thank you for visiting my blog.
