I am writing this post mostly to document it for myself. I have learned that I can’t remember which years I attended QuiltCon and what I taught, etc. I turn to my blog to help me remember! I just returned from QuiltCon 2023 in Atlanta.

I was honored to have three quilts in the show. The first is Semblance in the Modern Traditional category (pictured on the left.)

The other two quilts hung in the Negative Space category. This is Reverb. It had a really nice spot in the show!

Further into the same row was Side Step.
I was very busy teaching five classes. My QuiltCon started with a 3 hour Kitchen Sink Quilt Math class and ended with the same.

The next day, I had a full day class called Low Waste Foundation Paper Piecing where we used my Gulls Quilt Pattern.

On Saturday, I taught two different 3 hour classes of Modern Selvage Design.

On the final day, after my second Kitchen Sink Quilt Math class, I volunteered for a white glove shift in the exhibit hall. I felt like I was back working in museums. I have plenty of experience in saying “please do not touch the exhibits.”
It was a great trip!
