Sewing Seeds Quilt

I hope you are as excited as I am about this new quilt design! It’s inspired by seed packets, one of my favorite things. Seed packets are full of so much potential, before drought, bunnies, deer, etc. can squash my joy! Fabric seed packets are eternal joy!

This pattern is now in my shop but before you click through to buy it, I want to make sure you understand what you are getting. This layout is for my loyal customers who own Petal + Stem or Petal + Stem Bouquets or the Farm to Table BOM. They will have access to all the flower and vegetable blocks that I used here, and more, in those resources, and can pick and choose where they are placed in the quilt top layout. There are also a ton of new foundation paper pieced templates. These include the strawberry (top left) and the buttercup flower and stem (top right block). These blocks will mix and match with the existing Petal + Stem quilt top layouts but are only available here in this pattern. And you get all those words, the butterfly etc. The diagram below shows you what is included in the 53 page pattern:

If you do not have all the patterns I listed already, you can certainly make this quilt with just the patterns found in Petal + Stem alone, or a few Bouquets. So you do not need to go and buy all of them (though I warn you, you might get hooked!) Also, the Farm to Table BOM blocks will be sold individually as of January 2024.

This quilt is primarily FPP but there is traditional piecing involved in some of the seed packet construction and the sashing, of course.

If I haven’t been completely clear and you have questions about what is included or what blocks will work with the layout, shoot me an email before you purchase because PDF patterns are non refundable. I will get right back to you!

I really had fun with the graphic design of these blocks. I hope you love them too!
