Moo!

Two foundation paper pieced milk bottle quilt blocks, one chocolate and the other plain.

This block has been on my mind for a long time. It’s so nice to get out of my head and made with fabric!

Two and a half years ago, I designed the Tell Me A Story Transitions blocks with a Barn Yard theme. At the time, I was so in love with the cow and thought that I would feature her again on a milk bottle design. It’s taken until now for me to do it!

One thing that makes this pattern really fun is changing the flavor of the milk with your fabric choices. What will you make? Plain, coffee, chocolate, strawberry? I even hear that there’s blueberry milk sold in Maine!

I sewed 4″ x 8″ blocks, photographed here, but included templates for a larger 6″ x 12″ size in the pattern as well since some of the pieces are quite small.

If you feel moooooved to make a milk bottle, you can find the pattern in my shops, linked to below!
