I know it feels too early for Christmas sewing but it’s also true that we need to start now if we want anything handmade done by Christmas!

I made this set of potholders from my test blocks for the Sugar Cookie Christmas Tree block pattern. They would make the perfect hostess gift or you could just use them yourself! I used the 6″ block pattern and added a simple 1 3/4″ border all the way around. I also discovered that 10″ precuts work well for potholder backings. So, if you pulled those out for your center fussy cuts, here’s another use!
