I was hoping to get a Christmas-y shot but if I wait for that, it will be Christmas. So here’s my finished Sugar Cookie Christmas Tree Quilt using both sizes of the Sugar Cookie Christmas Tree block. (edited to add a Christmas shot!)

I alternated between groups of 4 six inch blocks and twelve inch blocks in a sort of checkerboard layout. Then I added a scalloped border because I love scalloped borders! You can find the scallop block pattern here. I like the choice of the aqua color for the scallops because it makes it a little less in your face red and green.

The quilt finishes at a good wall size, 48″ x 48″. It was a fun project and not too time intensive. It might make a great Christmas gift or decoration for your home.

I love it and bought the pattern a couple of days ago. Now, for some serious fussy cutting.
