I’m excited to announce my next sewalong! We start Sept. 8 and the sewalong will run for 12 weeks.
My goal for this sewalong was to design a stash friendly quilt that was also a repeated block design so that the sewalong would be affordable for everyone. I think I achieved that goal with this colorful rainbow flow quilt! It’s a modern, foundation paper pieced block pattern appropriate for the confident paper piecer. It is a very forgiving design as far as color placement and fabric selection is concerned so you should be able to work with your stash and find your version of a rainbow, reflecting your own stash habits/tastes. The pattern is also fat quarter friendly! Yay! The improv nature of the leaf inspired block design also makes it forgiving because there are no seams to match from block to block.

Then purchase the pattern through the links on that page or below:

Next, check your email and find your pattern download and your first sewalong newsletter with tips for background fabric selection.
I hope you can’t wait to start! Share with a friend who might want to sewalong too!
Note: If you are from the UK and purchase the pattern, email me so I can send you A4 formatted templates.

This will be sew enjoyable!
Can’t wait!
I am into my last 4 blocks of this stunning quilt pattern but with solid colors. It truly is a work of art and looks like nothing I have made before, what I wanted. I love the multi-color version tho so I may have to whip up another. I’m interested in the class with tips that I can use for next time. I’m using freezer paper as foundation paper and it works out perfectly. My tip for sewing this is using a walking foot and 1.5 stitch length.
Hi,
I signed up for colorful quilt SAL, but have not received any emails regarding it. Could you please ensure that I’m in. Thank you
I also only received the first week of the sew along.
I purchased the pattern and would love to get all of the emails pertaining to the sew along
