This is a PDF pattern that includes the foundation pattern for creating the snowdrop block plus directions to finish the pillow top (or mini quilt if you prefer).

I live in New England and some years, the winters feel really long! When I see the Snowdrops emerge (often out of the snow), I know that spring is really coming.

Fabric Requirements

This pillow was piecing using Improv, my debut fabric collection with Contempo (a division of Benartex).

5” x 5” charm of white patches (snowdrop)
1/8 yard citron crosshatch (pieced triangles and stem/leaf)
1/3 yard charcoal triangle toss (background of snowdrop block)
1/4 yard molehills (fussy cut border around block)
2/3 yard grey/citron screen (background fabric and pillow backing)
HeatnBond fusible fleece
Invisible zipper
Optional: white embroidery floss

The finished pillow measures 20” square or, you could choose to finish it as a mini quilt!
