This PDF pattern collection is called “Comb Collection.” There are four block patterns, each featuring a different comb design.

Comb manufacturing was the main industry in my hometown from the mid-18th century until 1904 when the last comb shop closed. I designed these blocks based on combs found in our historical society’s collection. I love their bold, modern look and their historical connection.

The finished blocks measure 6″ x 9″ each.
