Sunspots Quilt Pattern
$12.00
This quilt, named Sunspots, is designed with my improv paper piecing technique. The blocks were designed improvisationally but they are created using foundation paper piecing.
When I rotated my improv blocks into a larger block with four quadrants, the design resembled a flower. Others see butterfly wings which I can also see and appreciate. Part of what I like about this process is that you don’t know what your design will look like at its inception and it’s interesting to hear what other people see when they look at the shapes.
This quilt design will work for prints or solids in a wide variety of colors.
