I so enjoyed designing flowers and leaves for my book, Petal + Stem, that I had to keep going! I have designed brand new Halloween themed block patterns to coordinate with those in the book!

In this Witch’s Garden Bouquet, you will receive foundation paper pieced patterns for flowers that might grow in a witch’s garden. They are called Vampire, Blank Stare, and Evil Eye. They come with two stem designs called Stem with Bat-Wing Leaves, and Stem with Bat-Wing Leaves and Sepals. The blocks finish at 6″ and a combined flower and stem unit would measure 6″ wide and 12″ high, finished.

Because these blocks were designed to add-on to Petal + Stem, you can use them in quilt layouts provided in Petal + Stem, such as the Potting Mix layout which is show in the second image. This listing only includes the block patterns listed, not instructions for this quilt. It is shown for inspiration. Of course, these blocks can be used on their own as well and would be a fun addition to any Halloween quilt or night garden quilt.
