I am happy to hear that you are looking forward to making it.  Baby quilts are really rewarding, aren’t they?  They don’t take extraordinary amounts of time to sew and are easier to quilt on your home machine too. And you know that they will be used and loved.

I chose to make my quilt in shades of yellow so that it could be appropriate for either a boy or a girl, but there are lots of options!  When I meet other quilters, I often hear grandmothers talking about making quilts for their granddaughters in pink and gray.  I made a sample block in that color scheme and think it would look so great!
