Today I am sharing my completed Shuffle Quilt 2 that I made with the sewalong participants. My original quilt was made in a controlled palette of 6 colors. I really wanted to make a two color version so that’s what I did for the sewalong.

This time I finished it differently too. The original version was quilted in a one inch diagonal grid. This version is quilted with 1/4″ vertical lines in a variegated Aurifil thread that runs from light peach through a darker orange. What I really like about this quilt is the play between the foreground and background or positive and negative space. Which is which?

The sewalong is over but the quilt pattern will always be available in my shop if you would like to make it on your own!
